Peace

Been trying to get back on track, thinking a lot about our country and it's problems.  Sending thought of peace and healing to Newtown.
I am so thankful, right now,  for my family and friends.

Show in Woodstock NY

Have some new work up here through the end of the year.  Really great artists in the show.

Review of my father's work in the Brookyln Rail

Also an old pic of a geranium I painted last year, thinking about gardens.

Indigo

Getting ready to reconnect with indigo.
Indigo is:
Indigo dye is an organic compound with a distinctive blue color . Historically, indigo was a natural dye extracted from plants, and this process was important economically because blue dyes were once rare. Nearly all indigo dye produced today — several thousand tons each year — is synthetic. It is the blue of blue jeans.

I think it's the best blue.  This image is with a cassava resist process.
